The Parish Hall was formerly the village school but has not been used for this purpose for over 50 years. Instead the hall is now the focal point of many activities for local residents. It was extensively refurbished in the 1990s to upgrade the building and provide better kitchens and toilets. There are two rooms, one large, one small, that can be used together or separately. Equipment includes a good supply of chairs and tables. There is a small off-road car park at the front and a quiet garden at the rear.

The hall is run by a committee of trustees.

The Post Code is NN12 8LR.

Looking to 2023

"Looking to 2023 – Coronation Planning and Spring Quiz"

The Cold Higham Parish Hall Committee would like to thank local residents for all their amazing continued support during 2022. We hosted several events during the year which were all well supported, not least the Jubilee weekend which saw many residents come along to join us for "movie night and fireworks" and the Big Jubilee Lunch the following day. Our schedule of events culminated in the resurrection of our "Mulled Wine and Carols" evening in December, which was enormous fun and put all those who attended firmly in the Christmas spirit!

As a Committee, we have really enjoyed hosting these events and it has been wonderful to see so many people attend. Our 2022 events saw a total of £1,050.00 raised in aid of the Parish Hall owing to the generosity of neighbours and friends. A huge thanks to all. We would like to give a special mention also to Sainsbury's, whose Community Fund assisted enormously with fundraising at several of our events last year. We also owe a debt of gratitude to the National Lottery, whose funding assisted with the Jubilee Weekend events, which we hosted alongside Cold Higham Parish Council. A huge thanks to all!

Looking to 2023; following our successful year of events during 2022, this year, we are to continue with events to mark the Coronation, over the weekend of 6th and 7th May, with proposals for a "Big Coronation Lunch" at Cold Higham Parish Hall on the afternoon of Sunday 7th May 2023. This event, to mark the Coronation of King Charles III, will again be hosted alongside Cold Higham Parish Council, with a lunch party from 12 to 3 pm on the afternoon in question. We are planning to offer a fun-filled afternoon with tombola, face painting and music, along with garden games if the weather permits! Further details about this event, which will be free of charge, will be circulated closer to the time however please save the date and come along and join us!!

Cold Higham Parish Hall will also be hosting a "Curry and Chilli Quiz Night" on the evening of Saturday 1st April, which will mark our first event of 2023. A Chilli and Curry supper will be served from 7pm (vegetarian options will be available) and raffle tickets will be sold during the evening. Our resident quizmaster will be kicking off with questions at around 730/8pm, and there will be exciting prizes to be won for the winning team! Ticket prices are £10 for adults and £6 for children and teams for this event can be booked via Karl Lange (karlnlange@outlook.com) – Please do come along and support us.

See full booking details above.

Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to confirm the date of this year's Annual General Meeting, which will be held on Tuesday 9th May 2023, at Cold Higham Parish Hall at 8pm. If anyone from the Parish is interested in joining the Hall Committee, or would simply like to attend the AGM, please make a note of the date in your diaries,

Thank you again all and we hope to see you at some of our 2023 events!
