WNC have issued dates for recycling throughout the area.
In our area there is no change to the dates, except that there will be no Green Bin collections between 24 Dec and 6 Jan 23.
Real Christmas trees will be collected between 9 and 20 Jan 23.

Cold Higham Parish Hall Commitee will be hosting one further event in 2022 with the resurrection of our "Carols at the Hall" which will take place on Saturday 10th December 2021 from 6pm in Cold Higham Parish Hall. The supermarket in the Sponne Arcade known locally as the old Co-op or Poundstretcher has stood empty since September 2018 and has fallen into disrepair.

The national Poppy Appeal is launched today, in support of the Royal British Legion.
Static sites for purchasing your poppy will be open from 31st October at Peggoty's and John's Motors. Door to door collections will take place in some areas of the parish.
There will be a collection box in the parish hall after the Remembrance Ceremony on Remembrance Sunday (13th November).

A pilot scheme which helps landowners clear and prevent fly-tipping has been extended for another 12 months in West Northamptonshire.
When fly-tipping takes place on public land, the taxpayer pays for the removal and disposal of the waste. However, if a fly-tip occurs on private land, the landowner pays for the clean up and removal.
