Members of the public have the opportunity to speak to their local neighbourhood team on Wednesday (June 12) at a special crime prevention evening being held in Long Buckby.
The event has been organised by Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Craig Egdell at the United Reformed Church in Brington Road, between 5pm and 8pm in response to a series of burglaries earlier this year.

Northamptonshire Police has pledged to offer non-emergency callers a call back option in a bid to manage call wait times.
The pledge sets out an aim to answer 101 calls within 60 seconds and prioritise them according to the level of threat, harm and risk.

Northamptonshire County Council (NCC) has closed down Street Doctor and moved everything over to a new system called Fix My Street. The old Street Doctor web site shows a link to the new one. Current reports will be moved over so they shouldn't have to be resubmitted and the old report reference numbers should still work. Council Tax Billing Error
South Northants Council is today apologising to residents for a billing error in their Council Tax. Residents of South Northamptonshire will be receiving replacement Council Tax bills in the next week or so after the originals were issued with incorrect figures.
