Northamptonshire Police are appealing for information regarding a theft of diesel from a rural wireless station near Potcote where persons unknown have cut the fence to access the site

This happened between the 7th August and the 14th August 2018.

She left her address in Crestline Court, Northampton some time between 02:00 – 09:00am on Saturday 09th June 2018.

Cat shot in Grimscote

Northamptonshire Police

We're looking for witnesses after a cat was injured somewhere around Manor Road, Grimscote, near Towcester.

Sometimebetween7.45amand2pmonTuesday,5 June, the cat sustained a shattered femur having been shot with what is believed to have been an airgun.

Officers would like anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time to get in touch.

Speeding in Cold Higham Village

At the Council's request, police carried out a traffic survey along Banbury Lane in Cold Higham during the week 25 Jan – 1 Feb. Here are some of their findings:

Number of vehicles in survey - 9,656 (average 1,379 per day)

73% exceeded the 30MPH speed limit (1,006 per day)

47% exceeded 35MPH (648 per day)

15% of cars exceeded 42MPH (197 per day)

15% of motorbikes exceeded 41MPH (5 per day).
